I was on a ship and the air was so thick with fog. I suddenly found myself off the ship (and in much clearer weather) talking to a much older woman who seemed to be able to read my thoughts. she knew i was upset and told me "he knows you are thinking about him and thinks about you all the time". I told her I wished he would give me a sign. With that she started waking away into the horizon. I thought to myself where is she going??? As she disappeared into the distance a new figure took her place and started walking towards me. It was my beloved with a huge grin on his face. I ran up to him and he said "I love you so much" and we embraced and kissed passionately. I woke up in my dream within a dream and was back on the foggy ship. Then my daughter woke me up and said its time for school. It was wonderful and I woke up smiling. It felt so real I just cried just thinking about it.

That old woman probably is your guide. This is a wonderful dream.

Hiya Juanita. I’m just now getting back on the boards again. Thank you for sharing your dream with us. Sounded much like a visitation. :)

So many of these dreams concern ships and sometimes trains and other means of travel. It happens so often that I'm sure there is some kind of metaphor here.

Yes, our dreams can be metaphors and symbolic of what our consciousness /subconsciousness is wanting to communicate with us. No matter how general or similar some of our dreams may be, it is still up to the individual dreamer to interpret what that particular dream means to them.

Yes, the dreams mean different things to each individual, but I wonder if the ships, trains etc. are symbolic of going somewhere

For me I feel as though traveling on ships, trains, etc... symbolize our journey in life. I often dream of being on a school bus all of the time and worried that I will be late for school. I also dream of being late for class. When I start having dreams like that, to me I feel like I possibly could be missing out on a life lesson.

When I’m very stressed and depressed I dream of driving out of control and wrecking my car. Perhaps my car in those scenarios represents myself and that I need to sort out certain issues in my life. Hence the term ‘feeling like a wreck’.

I’ve had fairly good dreams in which I’m in a race and I win... or I’m swimming to find my way to shore. Dreams in which I’m flying are always liberating and lovely. I guess those dreams may symbolize a sense of accomplishment and freedom.

Well anyways, our dream experiences happen astrally in which I am highly grateful for since it gives great insight as to what our subconsciousness is telling us.

Interesting thought. It could represent a life journey. However, a friend's brother years ago, who was a teenager at the time, had a dream he was swimming in the ocean when a ship pulled up along side of him. He identified the driver of the ship as Jesus (probably because he appeared young and had a beard). He then told my friend's brother that he came to rescue him, and the dream ended. Less than a week later, he was in a fatal car crash, so I wonder if the ship may have been part of a precognitive dream, telling him he would soon be going somewhere else.

Wow! I am so happy for you! That sure sounds like a visitation. So vivid! You will remember that for decades. You are so fortunate.
