May I briefly step into this follow-on conversation? As regular members will know I routinely move from this C&M thread any follow-on discussions for reasons I've often explained.

If you, Ruby, want to know what she and/or Mikey thinks about something you should specifically address your questions to them. Carol doesn't visit often and may not read members' conversations and may not even see them before I re-locate them.

Hello! This feels so crazy to have a place to ask some of the things that have been hardest for me to have answered. First I want to say thank you for doing this, this will bring more peace than anything else before. For a few years, I have been reading books trying to get answers but it is hard because I feel my question is a bit weird maybe a bit out there but I hope you can help a bit.

The thing is this for so long I have had a pretty crazy imagination and have always connected to other worlds, like when I watch a fantasy movie like lord of the rings or harry potter or read an adventure fantasy book or watch an anime show like pokemon or any anime. I know it feels silly but I have always been so attached to worlds like that and wanted them to be real, I wanted the excitement of being able to visit somewhere like that someday. I guess I longed for it, I don't hate this world or anything but I wonder after death if that stuff can be possible? I know it sounds silly but could we enter worlds like that with our thoughts? Could we live out the fantasy in those worlds? Can we create worlds?
what is the limit of all things that are possible with God?

In the afterlife, I always pictured having a room with multiple doors in which I can enter anytime one for flying, one for mountains one for the magical world, one for the animated world. I always heard anything we can imagine is possible and through dreams, people have lived crazy experiences and it felt real. I just wonder would literally anything be possible? it would make the ultimate thing to look forward to.

2. Question (sorry if these seem long)
During this life I have this anxiety always that I want to do everything and it is so hard to focus on one thing and I know one lifetime is not enough time, for example, I'd wanted to live a life of a famous actor, or famous painter, or composer or writer, I know I can't do this thing right now and that's ok, but like do we just need to accept that or is it possible to do all things? like in different lives? and like is there a version of me doing all this stuff like multiple universes, but with more than one life, I know it will still be me but because we forget everything when we come back to earth it's hard to be excited for that. Is it possible that we can simulate those lives in the afterlife just have quick experiences of them like a dream where it feels like a whole life but not really then we can remember and return to the afterlife state?
could we visit any place on earth that we wanted to visit but couldn't during our earth life?

I hope this made sense and I appreciate your time and like I have been searching for so long and this seems like the best bet, and I could not find a thread like this, I just need to find peace in this.

Thanks again so much and I am looking forward to the reply.

Hi Zack,
Mikey tells me the more spiritually advanced / higher our vibration, the more elaborate our reality is in the afterlife. That is why we have such a strong desire to come here according to Mikey. We have great potential for spiritual growth = raising our vibration. The afterlife has much to offer and it is complex, but it does correlate with our vibration from Mikey's perspective. What we enjoy here we can enjoy there and more. But it's not about fantasy, but our true reality according to Mikey. There are infinite dimensions out there and things to experience. Mikey tells me we can experience earth-like places and draw close to this dimension and places as well by altering our vibration. When we return to the afterlife, Mikey tells me as we adjust, we realize all the potential things we can experience and it is beyond what we can imagine here.
No need to be anxious about missing out on not doing something as Mikey tells me we are eternal and have plenty of opportunities in the afterlife. But it is our choice to work on improving ourselves in raising our vibration. :)
Hope this helps answer your questions.

Hello Carol and Mikey, hope you're not too run off your feet in your medical role, Carol.
I was wondering, following on from the end of your last message, what counts as self improvement? I've never been very career orientated, having a very career-orientated, brain-box husband (working all the hours God sends, travelling on business, etc.) Is it more self-improving to be in a caring job, for example, rather than business, (although the latter raises private money which pays for the social side, and creates employment which is a social benefit) I've mainly done bits of voluntary work and worked for less than a decade since having my two boys, one now dead. But now I think that mainly when discussing the course of one's life it's work that counts for more than private life.
Are all wimped-out moms stuck on the lower levels??!!!!!

Hi Carol and Mikey... it's been a long time since I last posted. Had so much going on, and there were a few deaths in the family to deal with.
anyway, one of the death's was Aunt Helen, which is what my question is based on. Aunt Helen is the sister to my deceased father in law. She literally hated him for over 40 years, and had nothing to do with him in all that time. My question is, with the amount of anger and hate she felt towards him, would it carry over in the after life? If she were to meet up with him would it be the same as it was for 40 years or is all of that let go once you pass on?

Hi Ruby,
Mikey tells me being positive in our ways no matter what our career, is what makes the difference in regards to spiritual growth. We need all kinds of workers and occupations to make life happen and work here. Being negative, dishonest, or not kind in our interactions with negative intent is what can decrease our growth no matter what we are doing from Mikey's perspective. And certainly moms or dads are not stuck on lower levels! These are important roles that can have great impact on all involved. We need to "work" at being positive and keep ourselves in check. Loving ourselves and being appreciative even for the small simple things brings us into a more positive state. :)

Hi Jobun,
Mikey tells me we have a better understanding of things when we return to the afterlife. When we have our life review with our guides it is for learning according to Mikey. This history will probably be part of it and she will feel the emotions related to this "hate". Mikey tells me if the soul resists to understand it and ego is still present, your father-in-law may then also be present at that point with discussion with these higher guides as well and with the aunt. It is a life lesson and how do we handle things? Mikey tells me we do not get a pass if we don't recognize our hurtful behavior. Nothing goes unnoticed when it comes to relationships. We have work to do to understand this more fully. Mikey tells me every act has a vibrational component to it. We need to learn how to forgive others and ourselves. Forgiveness ultimately is for us! :)
Again, Mikey tells me the way we learn best is through experience. What do we do with what we are thrown? How we act influences our spiritual growth from Mikey's view.
(Honestly, I feel we learn something from everyone we interact with, and it can be a positive vibe or a negative one. It's our choice on what road we want to take with any interaction.)

Hi Carol and Mikey. Is hypnotherapy (for example) considered cheating when we’re working at being positive and keeping ourselves in check?
When we help those in need (even animals?) from a feeling of love and compassion; does that raise our conscious vibration?
I love you and thank you both.

Hi Fins up,
Mikey tells me no to your first question. And Mikey tells me yes to your second question! Being kind and helping others, including animals, is always a good thing!

Hi Carol and Mikey, thank you so much for this. I always felt that we learn from people we interact with as well, Carol. I also read up over the years that we usually let the negativity and anger go once we pass on. I only asked because her anger and hatred of the man was so intense, I couldn't see how she'd let it go... (stubbornness and all that). I hope with all my heart she found a way to forgive him and will move on from all the nasty stuff. All the siblings are now in heaven, I hope they are doing well.

jobun,

In my opinion, another possibility is just acknowledging that we don't wish to maintain relationships with certain people, choosing not to maintain those relationships. So if an afterlife does exist, then maybe once there (possibly after a period of rest/adjustment) your Aunt Helen was able to overcome the hatred she had for her brother in life, and maybe forgive him for whatever he had done to cause that hatred (if applicable). If she wasn't able to forgive him, then maybe she was at least able to sort of detach herself from him and from the hatred she had towards him, so that they can each move forward in existence without interacting with each other.

I don't know if that's the case, but I know that sometimes in life people take that approach. Many people think that once in the afterlife we obtain a greater knowledge and perspective, and that we are thus able to understand that motivations and actions of others and perhaps forgive them for things they did in life. That may very well be true, but if there are instances when it doesn't work that way (if the motivations/actions were too horrible, etc.), then it seems to me that the same accommodation might be made by the souls involved as people sometimes make here on earth, which would at least be better than the hatred.

thanks bb. If I know Aunt Helen, she probably doesn't wish to maintain any relationship with her brother, certainly in life, but perhaps in death as well. It wouldn't be a bad thing in her case. What FIL did was horrible and she held on to it for over 40 years.

Well then if they are able to just sort of set each other aside and not interact, hopefully that will be enough. Or maybe your FIL found that larger perspective once in the afterlife, and was able to express real remorse about whatever happened between him and his sister, which perhaps allowed them to reach a reconciliation. In any case, I hope they are both able to find peace.

Hi Carol and Mikey,
First and foremost let me say that I loved Mikey‘s book, and every time I hear John Denver I think of Mikey. With so much information being offered through this forum and from Roberta I have a question about Christmas. Has Mikey ever said that Christmas was all made up, and the birth of Christ really isn’t something that is celebrated? I know that so much of the Catholic religion is made up, but I would so disappointed to know that it’s just a story. The birth of Jesus brings me such JOY and to me is pure love. Please share Mikeys thoughts and also I wonder if Mikey hears me when I talk to him. thank you

Hi Coccinella,
So glad you enjoyed the book! I love John Denver music as well. Brings back such great memories and of course times shared with Mikey before and after his transition.
Mikey tells me Christ / Jesus was born here on earth and was one of the greatest teachers that has come here. So it is not just a "story". How Jesus' birth is handled here and made into a "holiday" called Christmas is a human thing and was created by humans from Mikey's perspective. But Jesus was born here during challenging times according to Mikey. And he came trying to teach important messages to help us with spiritual growth. Mikey tells me interpretations can be skewed by humans with the overall story, but Jesus was truly about love and the importance of it in our life and with our actions. So enjoy the celebration!
Mikey also tells me Jesus is an Ascended Master in the afterlife and is highly respected. Jesus is a very high level soul.

Hi Carol and Mikey, I have one more question:

Are we forced to reincarnate as a human again, or is it up to us/our (discarnated spirits) choice?

mac

Hi Jeana,
Mikey tells me most often it is our choice. It is quite rare for a soul to be forced according to Mikey.
Carol and Mikey "in Spirit"
It would be helpful, I feel, if those wishing to understand this subject better had some examples of when a soul might be forced to return to this physical world and why, please Mikey.

Laying my cards on the table, the notion of being forced - rather than being persuaded - does not sit comfortably with what I've learned.

Hi Mac,
We've discussed this before as this question has been asked in the past. Mikey gave the same response then and you didn't agree or feel it is correct (which is always fine and I honestly have no opinion on it). But at that time we ( you and Mikey actually, as I have no idea as I am just the messenger ) agreed to disagree. And that's totally cool!
Mikey tells me it is rare to be forced, but it is possible. It is not 100% that every single soul that ever comes here to earth for a life journey (which is an extreme amount as we know when you think of all the souls coming and going and all the years past) is here totally by choice according to Mikey. We only learn through experience from Mikey's perspective. When it comes to being with our guides and soul progression is encouraged, situations where the soul has been extremely hurtful, for example, in their ways, they need to feel the other side of things to have some kind of understanding. For example, if a soul is in the lower levels (outer darkness) want to progress but are struggling with why what they experienced / did, and how it impaired them, their guides will instruct them to reincarnate as that is the only way they can understand (is again by experience) according to Mikey. Going to another dimension or trying to work through it and improve in the afterlife is not the same as here if the issues the soul has are related to this dimension. So if this is something the soul is trying to do and they basically want to change and improve, Mikey tells me they must return here to this dimension.
I (Carol) have no idea but as children we are certainly forced to do many things by our parents in order for us to learn certain things. I know I was forced to go to church. I was forced to go to the type of school I went to as a child, etc. So it's interesting anyway! Again, I have no opinion either way on this ! :)

hi Carol :) Indeed you are the messenger so my disagreement is not with you or indeed with Mikey either. It's a disagreement over points made in his piece.

Hi Mikey - In all honesty I'd forgotten we had had this conversation previously. It could just be down to my age that I'm getting increasingly forgetful or that it's quite some time since it happened anyway but I do now recall the occasion. I'm thankful that despite my earlier failure to recall that earlier conversation my position on this matter hasn't changed - it's no more acceptable to me now than it must have been in the past. For the interest (?) of anyone following, I am pleased to be re-visiting this topic; your comments will be welcome.

Mikey tells me it is rare to be forced, but it is possible.
How rare, then, is "rare to be forced"? And very importantly, why do you add the words "..but it is possible" rather than "It happens."?
Does it mean, Mikey, that for all normal intents and purposes the whole notion can all-but be discounted? That for "normal" situations freewill applies to such a degree that any notion of being forced can safely be ignored? Maybe you're really saying being forced happens only in the most unusual, special, unique situations? Even then I find the notion has no appeal to my reason.....

It is not 100% that every single soul that ever comes here to earth for a life journey (which is an extreme amount as we know when you think of all the souls coming and going and all the years past) is here totally by choice. We only learn through experience. (mac's emphasis above in bold) But now your message is using very different words. You're now saying an individual's guide will "instruct" him. We humans know that being instructed to do something doesn't necessarily mean we will do it - we can ignore the instruction. Being forced is altogether different from being instructed - being "forced" means having no choice. We are made to do something that is against our wishes.

Going to another dimension or trying to work through it and improve in the afterlife is not the same as here if the issues the soul has are related to this dimension. So if this is something the soul is trying to do and they basically want to change and improve, they must return here to this dimension.
Isn't that what I've repeatedly said, Mikey?
I have learned a few bits and bobs over nearly four decades from spirit teachers and guides widely regarded as spiritually advanced, authoritative and knowledgeable. Consistently I've heard that spiritual progress is open to all no matter what their acts or omissions as incarnates.
This applies even to those who, after their passing, find themselves levels with others of constrained spiritual progress, so-called "outer darkness". I also learned that to 'rise' from these lower levels the individual spirit must actually want to.
Again I learned that at such a point help will always be immediately available from other spirits whose role is to provide that help. But nowhere have I heard it said that some will be forced to return to this dimension.

I (Carol) have no idea but as children we are certainly forced to do many things by our parents......
But WE are not children, Carol and spirit guides are not our parents.....

I know I was forced to go to church. I was forced to go to the type of school I went to as a child, etc.
We parents send our children to school because it's logical and can be seen as being for their long-term benefit in life. And, yes, we may sometimes have to force them to go when they play us up! :) But education is mandatory for most - we are almost forced to educate our children..

Types of school will vary but essentially they teach the fundamentals needed in this world without which many/most of us would flounder and sink - most of us understand and accept why we have to learn. On the other hand we may be forced to attend a particular kind of church where benefit from what's taught is questionable where attendance isn't mandatory but cultural. The benefit by being forced into that situation must surely also be questionable, wouldn't you agree?

So it's interesting anyway! Again, I have no opinion either way on this ! :)
But you do have an opinion, Carol, even if you don't choose to express it here. :)

Hello Mikey and Carol. My question is: after explaining the afterlife to my brother , who is staunchly catholic, his retort is that all this speaking of the afterlife and that there is no judgement and no hell, may be the devil in general who is trying to entrap us into believing all of this.

My question is: where do I go from here. He fears God and believes that if we disobey him we will be sent to hell.

I thank both of you in advance with blessings and an open heart. Victor.
