You should be hitting the slopes within a few months maybe?
Mikey tells me he does have a sense of self. He is not at the celestial level but he tells me his understanding is that we are always "us". We are individual yet One with The Source at the celestial level. Mikey tells me we need self reflection to understand our self and give us the desire to progress ourselves further from a spiritual perspective.

Thank you both for your replies, this answers my question. Occasionally I read about things or have insights that terrify my ego, but you guys definitely help to ease the anxiety. I think I remember reading in Mikey's book that the idea of "self" in the afterlife is not as defined as it is here and that one can actually merge with another being and "become" them as a way to share experiences. Either way it seems like in reality there are no real boundaries between you and others, even if there is still individuality.

Today is 14 years when Mikey transitioned back to the afterlife in the accident. I cannot believe how different my life is now. Never did I imagine I would be on a forum like this or have a spiritual book written from the messages of Mikey in the afterlife! Crazy! Still hard for me to believe how this all unfolded. Hi Carol and Mikey. I've been silently reading these forums for some time and wanted to take a moment to thank you for everything you are doing. The hope and comfort you are offering is a wonderful gift. Thank you! On this anniversary I wanted to share a story that you and Mikey may enjoy.

Our beloved mother passed in 2018. We were devastated. In my profound sorrow I found Roberta's blog and these forums, which resonated with me immediately. After about a year I contacted a renowned medium highly regarded by Roberta and this community. I was surprised I could even get an appointment. The only appointment available happened to be 4 months in advance, the day before my mother's birthday. During this time I read Flying High, which gave me much hope! Also, during the lead-up to the reading I often spoke to my mom out loud, saying "whatever you need to do to prepare for this reading, please do!" I am a twin, and growing up my twin and I had our own bizarre twin language. I asked my mom to please confirm it was her by using one of the weird twin words (they're not really words, they're guttural exclamations). I told no one in my family about the appointment, lest they think I was off my rocker.

Well long story short, the reading was AMAZING! My mom used the twin word, which totally blew the medium's mind. We had a great laugh about it. Other information that came through was equally mind blowing. In the middle of the session the medium says: "She likes the kid. There's a young guy. She sees him. He knows A LOT! The kid that runs around real fast, like he's flying on something." She said he holds lectures (I think she's been to one) and is trying to teach us from the other side. Apparently it's hard but he's trying!

I hadn't told anyone I had read your book. Our family has been comforted enormously by these events.

All: Please take what resonates with you and toss the rest. I know for a fact that was my mom and that she mentioned Mikey! So thank you again!!

Hi there! I have a question for Mikey. I hope I'm posting this in the right place! It's my first day on here!

A dear friend of mine just past away at the end of August. He was very sick for a long time on Earth before he passed. I was told he is currently still healing and to wait a week or two before booking a session with a medium to talk with him. A trusted shaman I work with said "He is still in the healing pools" so wait another week. I've heard similar from a friend who is a Barbara Brennan practitioner, among other things. She said when people who have passed were very sick, they need to recover in a hospital-like setting on the other side.
Just wondering if Mikey can confirm this.

I've been praying and sending love to my friend from here, of course. I trust God and I know he will receive what he needs.

First of all, I'm sure your friend is fine! Mikey tells me when we first transition, there can be confusion depending on the situation. Our loved ones in the afterlife try to comfort us and helps us to adjust to the afterlife again. When someone is sick for a long time like what you describe above, sometimes there is a need for a hospital like setting to gradually get them to adjust to the fact that they are no longer sick according to Mikey. It is not that they need treatment, rather it is to assist with their adjusting back to the afterlife as this is what they are use to.

Regarding having a reading, I (Carol) was told I needed to wait 6 months before having a reading with Mikey as my grief was too intense. I have no idea if there is a rule of sorts. Also I'm not sure of your situation. But wishing you a good session when you do have it with the medium!

i lost my son also. I have questions. First how lucky you are to be in contact. I know so many would like that .
Is he with you 24/7? Did he have children in other lives? There are things I cannot wrap my head around,
Why if someone is sick will they have to go to a hospital to acclimate themselves? I listened to you
you seem very sincere. I question why my son cannot do the same ? I miss him desperately.
I am still in a place of dis belief. How we all want the validation that they are ok. How does your
job think about this? I use to work in the medical field. I quit after my son died. I am a basket

Thanks for sharing with us (Afterlife Global Gatherings). I enjoyed your presentation very much and it was a pleasure to meet you and Mikey!!!

I was told the same thing by some mediums and others but I connected with my wife right away. I was even told to wait one year by some very prestigious group of afterlife researchers!!! However, within a month I saw her during a regression exercise and my grief was very intense at that time. Shortly after the ADC signs began to show (many of them) and I began to feel her (clairsentience) I believe (and my experience showed me) there are no rules and that everyone's experience is different. My adventure continues.....

I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I understand the pain and I'm so sorry with how you are struggling. It is one tough journey. And I know I did everything I could to help myself with the grief. Took a long time.
But I never gave up. Our loving connections with our sons never ends. I know that. When I call for Mikey he is there. I talk to him out loud a lot! I never ask about my or his previous lives because I am not interested in that honestly. I'm just trying to get through this one! Been tough enough!
Regarding the hospital, if you read that post, Mikey did not call it a hospital like what we have here. It is a setting with an environment that would help them adjust to what happened as they have been sick for so long. It is what they are use to. Even when Mikey passed, there was confusion. It's simply and adjustment period from Mikey's viewpoint.

I do not know why you cannot do the same. I know I cannot do certain things that others can do. I don't know what else to say and I am sorry.
Regarding my job, many at work know about the book and what I do. Many health care workers are quite spiritual. Has never been an issue. My boss has a book and loves it. So I honestly don't worry. I'm just trying to help others.
I strongly recommend counseling, support groups, being with others who understand . There are many avenues for help. There is a book out there called Choose to Believe. The author's son was murdered when in college. She talks about her grief journey. I feel this would be helpful. Paige Lee is also involved with the Helping Parents Heal support group. Please check into this. She is wonderful!

Mikey tells me we are in the astral realm dimensions when travel occurs in our sleep. These are the communication dimensions according to Mikey. We are able to experience the true afterlife dimensions when death of the physical body occurs. The silver cord needs to sever.

I have a couple of questions by the way:

1- While reading your book some soul knocked over my cup, does Mikey know something about it? I haven't had such a physical manifestation at my place for a long time.

2- What does Mikey think about the spiritual development of mentally ill people? I personally suffer from schizophrenia and it affects my life significantly, defining many aspects of existence. I try to be a good person to others, without anger, calm, but for mental reasons sometimes it is different. Doesn't living in such conditions stagnate a person? I also wonder whether I will be free of this disease after returning home.

3- According to Mikey, is it possible to contact with the deceased, spirit guides despite mental illness? In addition to the voices of the sick, I have often heard messages that have come true in the future. Sometimes about trivial things, sometimes not. But several times I have heard things that came true. And all the time I am wondering who could have passed this information to me (and this information is for me one of the strongest proofs for the existence of the other side)

I struggle with as many do with the guidance to someone that can’t transition.
Since it is family that is there to greet
you ,and you know they have died .
You would think somehow it would
make sense. Is there an option to
resist? It’s soul group there to convince
you . Why do you need to be convinced?
I get people who die tragically or young.
It just is so confusing to me. Which
brings up another question. If you do
not transition immediately, and our
closer to the earthly realm. Would
it not be easier to communicate with
your loved ones? Mikey has to come
down to communicate with you.
Mikey said it is a quarter that have
a problem. That is 1 out of 4.
You have the connection with your

you would rather not know about

can you love someone ? Have

the women we were unsure. She
brings a very large book . Opens
to a random page. It has my mothers

I was thinking about astral travel and communication dreams which are real experiences we have while asleep. I wondered if a person who has been blind from birth would still get 'visual' dreams. If some dreams are real, and not just our meat brains sorting out memories or de-cluttering like some poeple say, then surely they would experience these as visual. Ive tried googling 'do blind poeple see in their dreams' and i cant find any reports that they do. They experience dreams using the other senses but not so much visual. I completely trust the information we get regarding astral travel in dreams, but why would blind people not experience them in the same way?

Question 1: Mikey has no idea who it was, but very cool!!
Question 2: This disease, as all disease, is of the physical body. You will be free of it when you return home according to Mikey. Mentally ill people can spiritually progress just as physically ill people or anyone here on earth according to Mikey. It does not stagnate you from Mikey's perspective.
Question 3: Mikey tells me yes. Also, apparently it can open you up more to this type of thing according to Mikey.

How this post is laid out makes it tougher for me to answer but will do my best with it.
Mikey tells me yes, we can resist. But there is always loving guidance there to bring us home.
Mikey tells me there can be confusion when we first transition. He had this issue himself which he talks about in his book. That is why they try hard to help us.
Mikey does not come "down" to communicate. He alters his vibration to draw close to this dimension.
Our relationship and loving connection is the same with our sons! We are souls having a temporary physical experience. This is only a temporary physical separation. And I know that to be true! We will see them and be with them again just like we were!
Yes, they can hear us according to Mikey. Ears are organs of the physical body. We don't need them in the afterlife as we hear with our minds! Our physical body is just our vehicle that we use while we are here on earth.
You got a great sign there girl! I never doubt anything. *When we doubt, we lose! I cannot stress enough how important this is! There are way too many "coincidences" for this to be a coincidence. It's a sign and a dang good one!

Yes, what you are describing is really what telepathic communication is! I talk to Mikey out loud but also in my head / mind. I hear him in my head. And Mikey tells me he hears me! In the beginning, I thought this was my imagination, but it soon became apparent to me that it was really him. What he was saying, that I could hear in my head, was things I would never "think of". In the afterlife, this is how we communicate and we do hear each other according to Mikey. So either way is good. When I talk out loud it really gives my intent too. It's a human thing..........
