SOUND IN EAR(S) AS A SIGN OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH

First I am thankful for this site and what I've learned here.
I'm retired right now and have a lot more time to meditate and I'm experiencing interesting things. A high pitched sound in my right ear several times a day. My thought process is clearer andth sound helps me enter that still quiet place sooner.
Here is the site I got this from: https://consciousreminder.com/?s=ear+sounds+as+a+sign+of+ascension
I should mention It also warns that there could be other entities/energies trying to get through which might not have our best interests and how to eliminate that. In my case I have invited these energies/entities into my life through times of depression so I watch out for that.
    Hope this resonates with some.

Hey Bill. We have a thread here that talks about this. I believe it was discussed in Carol and Mikey’s thread and then it was later moved elsewhere. I will try and find it.

I would say at least once a week, I encounter an experience where all sounds around me will lower and all I would hear is a high pitched ringing sound in one of my ears. I’ve also read that it’s possible that your spirit guide is communicating with you, but Mikey through Carol said he hasn’t heard of such a thing. It was also noted that there may be an underlying medical issue as well.

I’m leaning more towards it being a spiritual communication, but it wouldn’t hurt to keep checking in with your physician. :)

Yeah we went through this subject a while back. Time will tell if it's more than simple tinnitus and it's worth getting checked if there are any other symptoms in case there's an acoustic neuroma developing. Rare but they happen....

Thanks Kurt. No it's not a bad thing, still happens. Spending more time meditating every day and it is not a health issue.

Me too who hears this high pitch sounds at certain times.

It started around 6 years ago, at the most random times I would hear it. At first I thought it was spirits communicating with me but as time went on I discovered a condition which was called “tinnitus” which others have mentioned above in this post.

I haven’t got it checked out. There have been times where I have spent months without experiencing it. A quick google came up with that Tinnitus can come and go, with others it can be more severe.

I’m not saying that you should believe that’s its spirit, same goes with believing that it’s tinnitus(unless confirmed by doctor)

I know a little about this condition. Tinnitus is pretty common and can affect from children through to old farts like me. It ranges from permanent and debilitatingly severe through barely noticeable and/or transient. Loud noises can bring it on - think machinery, ear buds and/or loud music concerts etc. Young uns should be wary of loud speaker systems in confined spaces and wear the special ear plugs that help protect against it - many bands do that now the risk of hearing damage is widely known. Such damage is permanent. Keep ear bud sound levels down and take breaks. Watch out for heavy bass frequencies - they're great to experience, I love 'em, but I restrict my exposure to them.

The probability is much higher that ear noises are tinnitus than an attempt by spirits to communicate.

There's no knowing what effect meditation in a remote location might have on any individual tinnitus sufferer's condition. I don't know of anyone who has tried but for most it would anyway be impractical on a number of levels. It is possible, however, that with guidance about technique, meditation might provide a way of helping deal with the constant noise. Habituation to the conditions's effects can come about in various ways and meditation might be one.

It's an interesting point, I think, that our world has become a very noisy one. We are exposed to a massive range of noise that simply didn't exist in decades and centuries in the past. It can be hard to escape. Some sounds are definitely enjoyable but others are intrusive and aggravating at which point they're perceived as noise and there's a lot of that in this modern world.
