This is your registration agreement with AfterLifeForums. It should be read in conjunction with 'Our Rule and Policies'.

By creating an account on AfterlifeForums.com - also known as 'ALF' - and contributing to this website you are agreeing to abide by the rules and policies detailed below. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with them.

NOTHING YOU READ ON THIS WEBSITE SHOULD BE SEEN AS ENCOURAGING YOU TO DELIBERATELY END YOUR LIFE. AfterlifeForums.com in no way supports, recommends, or advocates any potentially suicidal actions or self-harmful practices.

If you feel helpless, under pressure or suicidal please seek support and help from a mental health specialist, a general practitioner or a hospital emergency room. The link below leads to a resource area detailing organisations who have trained counsellors you can speak to. ALF's members and its administrative team are not qualified to offer advice here on medical or psychiatric matters. Moreover we are not responsible or liable for harm you commit to yourself or others.

Messages and materials posted here are solely the responsibility of their authors. Neither the owner of AfterlifeForums.com nor XenForo (the website developers) will be held responsible for their content. Administrators and moderators on AfterlifeForums.com will attempt to keep objectionable material off this site but it is not practicable to immediately review everything posted.

You use at your own risk any link to an external website posted in any way by a member. The owner of AfterlifeForums.com is not responsible for the content of any external website. Should any such website be illegal, or feature illegal file downloading, you will be held solely responsible for your activities there. You understand that the government in your country of residence has the right and the duty to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law for any of your illegal online actions.

Furthermore, you agree to refrain from posting any links to, or supportive messages for, illegal websites, downloading and acts. You understand that should you find such a link or message on this website it will be your responsibility to report it to the administrative team. You also understand that any fraudulent activity, including the unauthorized creation of duplicate accounts (multiple user accounts created by the same person) for any reason, will automatically result in the disabling of your account.

AfterlifeForums.com is based in the United States of America, and therefore uses that country’s laws to determine what is unlawful. As a member of this forum you are required to follow the laws of your own country of residence as well as those of the United States.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise in violation of law. You also agree to refrain from posting spam messages which, for purposes of this agreement, are defined as any messages or posts that are not relevant or related to the material on this website. Unauthorized advertising is included in this category and is thus prohibited. In addition, you agree to refrain from publicly displaying links to websites that you own, operate, or profit from (even if they are relevant to the afterlife or spirituality) without permission from the administrative team.

Religious spamming, which we define as trying to overtly convert members to your religion and/or repeatedly posting views that are contrary to our general spiritual perspective, while refusing to allow a discussion of alternative views based upon facts and evidence, is also prohibited by this user agreement.

The administrative team on AfterlifeForums.com reserves the right to remove, edit, move, or close any content for any reason, without specific notice or explanation.

Finally, you understand that any violations of these rules and policies will lead to written warnings and/or the banning and disabling of your account, either permanently or temporarily. The administration of AfterlifeForums.com also reserves the right, in addition to disabling your account, to ban any Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and email addresses associated with your account, if such action are deemed to be necessary.

The ALF administrative team is not required to issue a warning before proceeding to disable or ban your account.
