    So Mikey is not actually saying that homeopathy works, only that for believers in the treatment they may get better, or at least improve, because their minds are actually doing the healing. Or they may not because they're not persuaded the treatment works....

    Medical researchers, though, look for double-blind testing to actually provide evidence of success - as they do for many other treatments - and that doesn't appear to be there from what I've learned. My view is that when we're required to have belief - total belief - in this intervention it's largely on a par with so-called faith-healing where success is dependent on total faith and failure is attributed to a lack of it.
