    Levels

    Hi Everyone,

I'm relatively new, so I thought someone might be able to help me out.

From what I've read in the afterlife you progress through multiple levels with the point of reaching the higher levels. What if one didn't want to be "one with God" if that's what the higher levels represent and wanted to go back down to the lower levels, would there be a way?

    Welcome thaikat,
Higher "loving vibrational aspects" can go lower, but lower need to progress in loving ways to go higher. So yes, the individual could go lower, but can't imagine them not wanting to be "one with God" as that is Celestial Paradise! (From what I am told!)

Freewill determines what you wish. Should you want to do what you've asked about, should you make that choice after help and guidance on the matter have been offered if you needed it, then you'd be able to join those in the so-called lower levels.

As a human being thinking as you do it might appear that's an option you'd like. After your passing, when you've left behind the constraints of your physical brain and personality, I'd suggest you're likely to experience a wholly different outlook.

Hi Thaikat and welcome to our community,

Carol and Mac have given good responses to your question, free will provides options, and once in the afterlife you will find that your desires and motivations for what you think are important on the physical plane will no doubt change.

That is a very common first reaction because we (our human egos) feel that we will lose our sense of identity and individuality if we become one with God, which, to our egos, is just like being dead (as in ceasing to exist). And our ego's purpose is to keep our body and our identity as individuals alive. So this is what most people experience when they first 'die' (based on what I've read), a summerland where things are just about the same as they were when they were alive. Then they gradually move 'up' when they are ready. Being one with God is something that we cannot even conceive of with our puny little human minds and fearful egos.

Welcome, dear Thaikat! This is such a wonderfully human question ;-). I concur with what others have said above - it is difficult to go higher than your level of spiritual attainment, but it is easy to go lower - and I just would like to add my own observation based upon studying lots of post-death communications. NOBODY there seems to be in any hurry! Instead, there seems to be an easy sense of, "What the heck, we will get there eventually, and meanwhile we are enjoying the trip." So, for example, while they admire (and even revere) the very advanced beings who come to lower levels to teach, I have never seen anyone expressing impatience about joining them. There is lots of curiosity about the top of Level Five and above, and sometimes an advanced being will take a few folks to the higher levels for a tour (the advanced being's energy protects the voyagers and lets them breathe and be comfortable far above their level of spiritual development)... but after their curiosity is satisfied, everyone settles back happily into a Level Three or Level Four existence. Even visits to the upper levels don't seem to inspire much ambition! Among upper-level beings themselves, I have seen reported some discussion of when and how they might want to accept what they sometimes call the "second death" - that ultimate reunion with the Source. But even for people who are sufficiently spiritually developed to accept that second death, I have never seen the slightest hint that it ever is anything but voluntary. So, dear friend, I want to assure you that all the afterlife evidence I have read suggests that if you never want to rejoin your Source, then (within time) you won't ever have to!

    Hi All

Regarding these levels, is our earth a level? If so, does that mean that advanced beings visit us, and that we can visit lower levels than earth? Are there lower levels than earth? Just a thought.

Also as we are on a different vibrational level to the afterlife, are all levels on different vibrational levels?

The analogy that i always use to understanding different vibrational levels, is as though I am tuning a radio to lots of different channels. That makes it easier for me to understand.

Sorry if it sounds I am getting carried away, but talking about levels has got me thinking?

If you are interested in reading about different levels of the afterlife (but especially level 3 or 4 of the Summerland) I recommend Life in the World Unseen by Anthony Borgia. You can find a free version floating around the internet. In it the person he channeled, Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson, does a great job describing the level he is on (I believe it is 3, maybe 4) but he also describes going down to one of the Outer Darkness levels. All the levels are of a different vibration (like different radio or TV channels), and there is likely to be infinite variations but there are considered to be 7 main levels. I believe earth is considered to be a separate level from those 7 levels of the afterlife.

    Hey Billyjean,
Good questions. Mikey has told me that we should not think of "levels" as linear or one "above" the other. He describes it more as different vibrational "aspects" that are based on love. The more loving, the higher the vibrational aspect or "area". He tells me there are hundreds of areas or aspects of love in each level or plane. (He is using the term you are for better understanding. ) Mikey does not consider earth as a level. He describes earth as our school for spiritual growth. So to Mikey, there are not "levels" as you are describing lower than earth. Your radio analogy is not far off according to Mikey. It corrolates with "frequency" of various energies, which is what we are! The more loving, the higher the frequency or vibration!

I believe that individuals here in the physical plane also have varying degrees or levels of vibration, some opperating at frequencies similar to that of spirit, even higher level spirits. Jesus would be a good example of that, so I believe that there is an overlay of sorts.
