    Constance Demby Music

So, just a little more about myself to explain the thread. I am an avid music fan, I have been all my life, there is not much of any type of music I don't enjoy some aspect of. I actually own and operate my own DJ service. It's currently as close as I can get to music "performance" as I never learned to play an instrument but I can sing pretty well from time to time. From what I've read I'll be able to learn many instruments when it is my time to pass on so I'm stoked about that.

Anyway, I've been listening to a lot of New Age music in the past year or so and got turned on to an artist, Constance Demby. I'm guessing many of you have heard of her, her album Novus Magnificat - Through the Stargate is noted as the one of the most prolific New Age albums of all time.

For those that listen to, or have listened to, her stuff I'm curious what your thoughts are about her music? When I listened to the Novus album, for the first time, with headphones on I felt so at peace. It's not exactly music one would listen to while driving, cranking it up. Yet, I sometimes listen to her stuff when I'm attempting, which I'm seemingly not very good at, meditating or just to help put my mind at peace. If ever there were a musician that may have some serious divine inspiration, I'm certain Constance might be one of them.

I guess I could expand this question for those not aware of who Constance Demby is. What are some artists, genres, etc. everyone enjoys listening to that you find highly spiritual? I'm always on the lookout for different enlightening music so just curious what others think? Thanks....

I love all types of music as well. I shall check her out and give you a full report in the next day or two.

I checked out a couple of her songs on youtube. Her music is very soothing; it seems like good de-stressing music. It reminds me of Enya's music a little bit.

I like her music, I'm going to see if my library has it to lend out.
