    Your Ultimate Afterlife Wish

So you pick up a lamp a rub it, and a genie pops out. And this genie gives you one wish, but it must be related to the afterlife.

What do you wish for? We all have some questions that we would like answered, and things that we would like to know.

    Here are some options:

    A) I'd like to see exactly what the Summerland looks like, to know where it is we are going
    B) I'd like to be able to directly communicate - face to face - with a deceased loved one
    C) I'd like to know about my life plan, to see if I am adhering to it and how to improve my life
    D) I'd like to gain a greater understanding of God
    E) I'd like to know what awaits humanity in the near future, regarding things that we don't know about yet because it hasn't been allowed to "come through" to us yet
    F) I'd like to know if a person that I really cared about is now in the Outer Darkness, and have my wish be that he/she gets rescued immediately
    G) I'd like to have an "enlightenment" bestowed upon me to gain an understanding of why it is supposedly fair that "bad" people get to the Summerland, "good" people might wind up on level 1, and why it all boils down to love and forgiveness but that "good works" aren't necessarily rewarded and "bad works" aren't necessarily punished since forgiveness is all about oneself
    H) Other - please specify
All cats are the spawn of Satan.

    I agree.

    H) Other - It would be nice to think "said" Genie could confirm there is an afterlife for everyone. Perhaps that way the world would not seem so petty, hateful, and vindictive. Of course, if we were all homogenized and lacked a purpose or free will it probably wouldn't offer us too many learning possibilities either. So with that, I might ask for a teeny tiny glimpse of the Summerland, but not a whole lot, kind of like an NDE. I haven't had anyone that I'm extremely close to pass as of yet so that wouldn't be a priority.
Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it.

Dear friend, if a genie could give me one wish - whether related to the afterlife or not - then here is what I would wish, with all my heart:

That every human being on earth could know what we now know about the afterlife as it is revealed by two centuries worth of evidence.

That is all. At its core it is Matty Mo's wish too: give the world this awareness universally, and nothing whatsoever will be the same!

    H) Other. I think if I got a wish pertaining to the afterlife, I would want to explore my past lives. My current one is very... unique, I'd say. I also want to get more of an insight towards homosexuality and how it fits in with the world here.

But I'd also be torn between getting absolute proof to go around showing everyone. (This is a morally grey area for me, wouldn't it take away from our learning?)

From what I understand, it seems that the inability to forgive is a big factor relegating souls to the lower levels. If I had one wish, it would be to understand how one can let go and forgive others, as well as themselves. As Roberta has suggested, we can tell ourselves to release the guilt, and, perhaps, this can work. When I think of people who have inflicted horrible pain upon others, yet not recognized the errors of their ways, either because of tremendously inflated egos or just, maybe, repression of evidence, and then I compare them to those who have done so much good, yet that good might not have resulted in the best outcome -- whose intentions were the best (although the road to hell is, as they say, paved with good intentions), it seems unfair that the latter -- those who punish themselves, often inflicting inhumane judgment on themselves-- should face a most horrible fate. I wish I could understand this.

The answer to that one is quite simple... it fits into the world here in the regard that God wants us to learn to love one another and everyone, regardless of race, gender, sex, religion, politics, etc.

It would be hard for me to choose between A and B, but I'd have to go with B. If I could talk to a passed on individual whenever I wanted to face to face, I'd choose that. Then I wouldn't need to see the Summerlands for myself.

My first response was "where is all of the above" Then after reading others and Roberta's responses, I'd like to say I would chose what Roberta has written as that would change this world. BUT I'm going to have to go with my human, selfish side and say I would choose option B because I miss my mom terribly. I have no guilt, was never angry with anyone or God. As a matter of fact I felt in my heart she was at peace and her loving spirit surrounded me. I believe she knew I was going to need that, as we had discussed many times prior to her passing. She promised that when she passed if she could she would do anything possible to communicate with me and let me know she was ok. Still, just missing that piece of me

If I hadn't found this site so soon after her "graduation" as I did (literally within days) I don't know how I would feel or where I would be in my grieving. This forum has helped me on so many levels I could never begin to thank all of you enough.

WWE LOVER, If I had a magic lamp I'd give it away. I kind of like the challenges of life, probably the whole reason I chose to come here -- for the adventure of it. Of course today I'm in a good mood, ask me again tomorrow...

    With Lovingkindness (metta),
