Question Immediate and eventual fates of the 9/11/01 Departed Souls?

    Hi everyone,

On this day of Remembrance, a question comes to mind that I've been curious about for over a decade.

I have read some things elsewhere about what may have happened to the dear people who perished in the 9/11 terror attacks.

Did they immediately go to the Other Side? Were their Guides there to assist in their transition? Were some of them already aware that they had "planned" to be present for this event? Do any poor souls remain on the Earth plane to this day? Did many remain behind out of obligation to be with their stunned and devastated loved ones?

And ... was this entire event part of a Plan for the growth of humanity, somehow?

I made a comment on my Facebook page earlier that today's significance somewhat unites the world in a common sentiment; if only for one day.

I apologize if this question has been posed before (one post referred specifically to the terrorists themselves). Hopefully, Carol and Mikey might have something to offer about this.

    Thank you.

I will NEVER forget that day. that was a true blow in my small world, what i was looking at.... it wasn't a movie, it wasn't stunt people falling out of the building, it was terrified people. It was death and it was horrifying. Ill tell you this, with what I know now I will pray for any confused or lost souls that might still be wondering here. looking and waiting for help. No one will be left behind. help will come. pray they know how to ask. pray for acceptance. and most of all pray for the strength deep within to FORGIVE the people that caused it. never forget, but remember to forgive. <3

Never had I, or most of the world, witnessed an event so surreal as the events that transpired that day. Of all the tragedy that befell the world on that fateful day there were a few uplifting things that did come out of it. So many people came together like never before after this event, I had a new found love for humanity. It was wonderful to see the human spirit at full force if only for a brief time. How I wish we could have maintained those feelings of oneness but sadly the majority of us lost those feelings as the years passed. It's also sad that it takes a major tragedy such as 9/11 for us to come together at all.

As far as any lessons to be learned from the tragedy I believe empathy, forgiveness, tolerance, and appreciation for people in our lives stand out. Regarding anything surrounding the afterlife aspects, I'll leave that up to those much more understanding of it then I.
Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it.

    GoodOmen and Matty Mo,

Thank you for your replies. I still reel at the very thought of what happened that day. I know that those souls have since found joy; I have no idea when or how it transpired, however. I cannot imagine the absolute desolation the loved ones left behind must still feel.

I know that things happen for a Spiritual reason; I just have a hard time wrapping my mind around something of this magnitude having any sort of a positive effect, since it incited so much anger and international rancor. Those who passed away since, as a result of the Allied War On Terror, have also been caught up in the thick of things ... how is it significant in a Spiritual sense?

I am sure mikey will have a better answer than me. but i noticed something as I watched a widow stand up and talk about her husband. I saw her tears and felt her sadness. the sadness that was the evidence of her love for him. and my thoughts turned so easily to my own loved ones. and i wonder if they knew how much I loved them ? just yesterday I lost my patience with
    our autistic daughter a
nd in my anger I wondered how much longer I could take the strain from this little strong willed girl. it took me no longer than a heartbeat
to realize that what would I do if I lost her in such a horrific way. or anyone for that matter. yes the strain of everyday living might be stressful to the point you want to rip out your hair...but better than ripping out my heart. I looked at that woman and cried for her. I went to my daughter and hugged her. I pulled my 2yr old son close. in this humongous catastrophe that befell our nation touched this small struggling family in a very small yet profound way...I pray she finds peace in hers.

I know what you mean about feeling someone's pain and then reinforcing our own values. I can't even imagine being a widow, and in such a horrific way. Makes me want to hold my husband closer than ever.

Hi all, (Welcome to the forums GoodOmen!)
I too will never forget this day. I was so scared and horrified seeing what was happening! Truly a life changing event. My heart still aches for the ones left behind to work through this situation. MattyMo, you are so right that events like this or natural disasters bring out the best in people! Love out pours to help others, and most of the time it is people they don't even know! Unfortunately, it often takes a tragedy or disaster for some people to understand the importance of love and helping others. There is good that comes, but in this case of 9-11, it also started a war and increased anger which created more non-loving ways.
Mikey tells me that Heaven knew a tragic event was "in the works" as nothing goes unnoticed. It is the individual's free-will that takes over despite guidance attempts. He does say that some souls do agree to go through a tragic "life event" as part of their "plan" like Sapphire suggested. (This concept has always been tough for me to grasp.) But it is done to help others progress spiritually. Mikey always says that "God's plan" is about love, but for some souls, their "life plan" may be different . And that choice can be non-loving.
Mikey tells me with an event like that, Heaven has immense love and guidance ready for these souls as they pass to gain comfort and peace as they transition. They are surrounded by much love! And they are guided with much love immediately. It would be rare to not transition to Heaven in a situation like this with this type of loving guidance according to Mikey.
Hope this helps answer your questions. This is what Mikey has to say.

These type of events or natural disasters are unforgettable. No one will forget that day. I will too never forget that day; I had watched two children crying for their dad. They lost their dad in that event. I felt sad for them.

There are very specific questions here in connection with this tragedy.

"Did they immediately go to the Other Side?" Impossible to be certain but as Carol and Mikey have told, there is support for all and none is left behind in any sense. The shock of such a sudden passing, however, would be traumatic for individuals leaving some very dis-orientated and unaware of what had happened. That might effectively delay the help but it would remain immediately available until the effect of the trauma had subsided a little and that help could be given.

"Were their Guides there to assist in their transition?" Yes

"Were some of them already aware that they had "planned" to be present for this event?"
They'd be aware of an imminent likely need for their presence even if the exact circumstances were not known. They would likely have had appreciation of the seriousness of the unfolding events even if they didn't know for sure what the total outcome might be.

"Do any poor souls remain on the Earth plane to this day?" Not on this earth plane but there's always a possibility they might still be 'close by' if they still haven't been able to reconcile what's happened or been unable to see those waiting to help them. Impossible to know for certain but help will always be close at hand in any such situation, would-be rescuers just waiting for a chink of awareness of their presence to emerge in the victim.

"Did many remain behind out of obligation to be with their stunned and devastated loved ones?" Impossible to know but some may have stayed around hoping to help in some way - love but not obligation.

"And ... was this entire event part of a Plan for the growth of humanity, somehow?" Impossible to know but unlikely I suggest. "...today's significance somewhat unites the world in a common sentiment; if only for one day." As with wars and other conflicts, there can be some positive outcomes from tragedies. Sadly humankind doesn't always move forward as much as we might think or hope after such events.

Thank you, Carol and Mikey. It is comforting to know that even if these people had some spiritual "inkling" (but as humans were obviously terrified), they still received the necessary love and guidance they desperately needed at these moments.

Though there was much angst and extreme despair caused by these events, I do remember feeling a bit of wonder and relief that there seemed to be some sort of positive effect, as well. Of course, this was soon eclipsed by the retaliation and all the bloodshed and discord since. Will humanity EVER get the picture?
