    A Few Questions

Hello friends, it's been quite some time since last we spoke...I've begun to feel like my old self again, and am no longer tormented by Physicians, and even worse, my wife! I am still not in good health, but my mindset is one of positivity. As you know, I underwent surgery, a while ago, which has lent me further time with which to set my personal matters in order.

I have a few questions, for those, who would prove kind enough to answer:

    a) If I reach The Summerland, eventually, will I know you all, upon my arrival, due to the absence of time?

    b) Will I be able to interact with myself, as I was, in previous incarnations, or shall I exist as a combination of every incarnation?

    Yr. Obt. Svt.

    Erick.

Hi Erick! Good to hear from you!
I will have Mikey answer these questions the best he can.
    A) Mikey tells me there has to be some "loving connection" generally for this to occur. You will need to make an effort to "look" as well. It is based on our "vibration" as to how we know each other. Is it impossible to make the connection? No. But Mikey says it is much more difficult if the connection is not made here. (Unless of course there was a previous "soul connection" from before.)

    B) You have grown and progressed from your life lessons over the "incarnations" you have experienced. You are you always, but as we know, experiences can change us. I know I am different then I was before Mikey' accident. It was a huge life changer for me. That will always "stay with me" in regards to what I have learned. So to answer your question, you are a combination of all your experiences. But Mikey does say that you can review previous lives if you so desire when you return to Heaven.

    This is Mikey's opinion anyway!

Hey, everyone... I'm sorry to barge in on this thread when I'm brand-new here, but seeing as how I, too, have some questions about the afterlife (heaven), this seemed as good a place as any to start. To begin with, let me just give you a tiny bit of background on where I'm coming from to start, and then we can build upon that as we move on, based on any answers I get here.

Due to circumstances of my life recently (which hasn't been going good), I've been doing a lot of reading about near-death experiences, the afterlife, metaphysics, reincarnation, the whole nine yards. Based on what I have read, I have a few questions, because IMO, the afterlife should be paradise for us, and certain things I've read have led me to pose some questions about it. So to start:

I have read that supposedly it's always bright an sunny in heaven. I REALLY hope this varies based on the desires of each individual, because I, for one, cannot stand nothing but bright, sunny days... I have had more than my fill most of my life, living in Los Angeles, where we get 364 days of nothing but sun all year. The last thing I want to see when I get to heaven is nothing but eternal sunshine. Sun will be fine sometimes, but what I really love is rain. Rain makes everything fresh, makes everything smell good, and cleans everything. The sun isn't in my eyes, and the light level is comfortable. People have this habit of equating rain with depression, and that's too bad, because that's not the case at all for me. So the way I see it, since heaven is supposed to be our paradise, I want to be able to have the weather I want in my surroundings when I want it... if I want rain, I should have it, if I'm in the mood for snow, or for it to be night, I should be able to have that. Otherwise, if I am subjected to an eternity of endless sunshine, it won't be paradise for me. So that's my first issue... based on the answers I get from this one, I can ask the others I have.

It's my understanding that you can have the desired kind of weather that you wish, as it's just a thought away.

My personal favourite time of the year is late summer to early fall, as I love to see the trees changing colours and the fact that there is less humidity. So once I get over to the Summerland, I think I would create my own autumnland there, and listen to my tunes from the 70s and 80s.

    I agree.

    Hi Bruce

Don't stress, where in the Afterlife things like weather are important to experience, you will have whatever turns you on. Bare in mind, spiritual progression will take you well above the need to experience weather when you are ready.

    Hi BruceAdama,

Welcome to the forum; I'm fairly new here as well.

I can understand your point about continuous sunshine; as a migraine patient, bright sun has always proved somewhat problematic for me. I wear shades even on rainy and snowy days, to cut down on glare.

I agree with you about overcast days' being unfairly blamed as catalysts for depression. I find no sadness in this at all; in fact, I prefer it much of the time. There is beauty to be found regardless of sunshine's presence (or lack thereof).

I have read that there is no "sun" in Heaven, though it is illuminated somehow. From what I understand, it is not a jarring brightness at all. And if the Summerlands' environment does originate from our own thoughts, then it may not amount to much of an issue.

    Again, welcome!

    Hi Erick,
I have read about your illness and wanted to offer my support in your recovery. You seem to have a wonderful attitude, and I'm glad you're still with us.

    God Bless!

Bruce, I live in Southern CA also, and like you, I am weary of relentless sun and warmth. I grew up in Minnesota and there are times I miss feeling a bracing, icy wind. I don't know, though, how much of this is really physical -- I have a fair Irish complexion and actually get sick if I'm in the sun too long - and how much this would matter in a spiritual existence. I'm glad I'm not the only one who would like to go to an Autumnland .

Thanks. Yeah, I take my vacations in NYC during December and January, so that tells you a bit about my weather preferences, lol. And thank you for the warm welcome, everyone.

Dear Erick, it is so good to hear from you! I admire your courage and resilience so much - nothing ever gets you down. God bless you, dear wonderful friend!!

And dear Bruce, there is a lot of evidence that you can have whatever weather you prefer in the Summerland - for example, our wonderful friend Mikey still snowboards there!
