Referring to postings #182 to #199 I'm left wondering if the topics raised have any relevance or interest for this website's members?

There have been so few responses that there's no way of telling if members are reading-and-enjoying or reading-and-thinking "What's all that about then?"

YES! YES! YES!! Dear Mac, I am hanging on Mikey's every word in response to your wonderfully thoughtful questions, and I haven't commented because I don't want to get in the way! I expect that everyone else feels the same. Please carry on, dear much-beloved friends. We are all ears!! ... er, or should I say, we are all eyes ;-)?

I agree with the last few sentences of Mikey's response below but for me it doesn't really change the issue.

I'm not over-concerned that there are different perceptions although for 'beginners' it can't be helpful if they're already finding it hard to understand the afterlife dimension(s) in the first place. Perhaps Mikey could approach it from his personal experience? May I frame a question or two?

Mikey you're a recent returner to the etheric, and also you've been here many times, so I'd hazard a guess that you can still feel how the physical world felt to you. Will you explain how you the dimension you're living in now feels by comparison with how things felt in the physical dimension?

For example, in your ordinary, everyday life(yes we know there is no actual day! ) do you personally feel as solid as you did when you lived here? Do your surroundings feels as 'real' as those of the earth felt? (I realize we've covered this ground before.) I'm expecting 'yes' answers to those questions so, by contrast, do you ever personally experience situations where the nature of the etheric and of the earth planes appear to be illusory?

If so would you please explain when, and why, that appears to be the case so we might better understand those circumstances?

Mikey says how about calling life here "a course in action" versus an illusion? Earth is our school for Spiritual Growth and we are taking a "course" here that is constantly in action. Our experiences here are very "real" for our growth. This growth progresses our "minds/ consciousness" = our souls on love . Love is the basis of "All Beings" which is of God = Mind .
Mikey feels what the real "illusion" actually is, is people thinking of "Heaven" as whispy among or above the clouds, it is transparent, with people floating around, etc. But what is real and solid is Heaven and the Unity of God which is Infinite = Mind, or whatever term you choose to use. The bottom line is its all about LOVE of multiple vibrations. Just another perspective . Mikey wonders if this is easier to understand.

Mikey wants me to first post the definition of "illusion" from the Webster Dictionary: a misleading image presented to the vision, something that deceives or misleads intellectually, to mock, perception of something objectively existing in such a way as to cause misinterpretation of its actual nature. Mikey says earth, and what happens here, does not really fit this discription. He feels this word can be confusing. Our experiences here are very real with no "misinterpretation" of what is happening here. We know and feel our experiences very well indeed.

In Heaven, Mikey tells me he feels more "real" than on earth. Everything feels solid and is more beautiful and "energetic" than on earth. Things are more alive! The plants and animals even interact! Flowers will turn toward you to "greet" you, etc. Mikey appears solid to others, and if they touch him, he feels solid to them. It is different than earth in that you really feel the energy around the individual. The more loving, the more energy.

Mikey says when we transition back to Heaven, our energy changes. We vibrate differently. As we change, the earth becomes less distinct as far as what we see or invision. The earth becomes more "transparent" and less distinct. BUT, the loving connection with others still is strong and always remains. They are close to us, just at a different frequency or vibration. Mikey tells me, when he comes close to me, he changes his vibrational level to what is closer to earth's. The earth becomes more distinct to him again. When he gets close, he is then able to communicate with me.

Now he wants to go back to the term illusion. Our vibration alone changes what we are experiencing. Heaven is solid. It is our true home. When we come to earth to learn (go to school) we change our vibrational level. Now earth "feels" solid to us because we are at it's vibrational level. Heaven we no longer "see" and becomes transparent to invisible. When we transition back, the earth becomes more transparent and less distinct and so on. What always exists is our loving energy. This energy, us, our consciousness, being a part of The Unity = God =Mind or whatever term you want to use, is the one constant. When we are done changing our vibration to go to earth for school, what is left that is constant and real is God = Mind = what we part of. This is what exists. The word illusion maybe could be used for certain life aspects on earth, but the lessons learned will always stay with you! It is our vibrational change that changes our experiences in regards to Heaven and earth. If that makes sense. The one constant and what always exists is God.

Sorry to put my two cents here, but, it is with appreciation and the hope that the question can help others, that I ask something personal, yet related. What originally brought me to this forum was the fact that I was startled by the presence of my husband while I was in a hypnogogic state. By the time my vision registered that it was him, I was fully awake, with eyes closed. What I noticed about him was that he was vibrating at a rapid rate that I had never before seen - extremely fast. I have mentioned this to numerous individuals, yet no one has ever commented in any way. Can you ask Mikey whether I was actually witnessing his higher vibrations (albeit while he was lowering them to appear before me)? Many thanks for these wonderful posts.

PS: It was after this that I consulted all of Ruth Montgomery's works and learned that it is best to duplicate the circumstances of this communication (This was told to her from someone who had passed) and enter that state again to facilitate communication. I am now exploring lucid dreaming in the afternoon as a way to communicate. I found a link to a free e-book on lucid dreaming and will put this on another thread if anyone is interested.
