Mikey has not met Buddha. Mikey does say that Buddha was a great teacher as he taught "acceptance" to life lessons and challenges. Mikey says that we need to understand that when we return to Heaven or the "Afterlife", we are aware of the Greater Force, the "Unity" = God or whatever word you choose to use for this . He feels this was the same for Buddha. Has he (Buddha) enlightened others with this on earth? Mikey says it is possible that efforts have been made.

This last question about the Lord Buddha raises similar questions about whether other leaders ever attempt to communicate with followers of their teachings in light of what they learn after their passing.

It must surely be the case that (at times) spiritual or church leaders who have influenced many by their words must regret at least some of what they taught?

It may also leave one wondering just how spiritually-evolved certain spiritual leaders truly were, and indeed are, that some might feel the need to try to correct what they taught whilst incarnate.

Thanks Carol and Mikey! I made that question because I read somewhere that Einstein was appearing often with certain medium and when asked why he was appearing so often he responded that he felt bad about promoting the nonexistence of God and wanted to undo the damage...So I wondered if Buddha being more spiritual could have powers or abilities to do the same....

It's a recurrent theme that well-known personalities are alleged to be communicating with mediums. What's difficult to establish, however, is the authenticity of the identity of such communicators.

Call me skeptical but I have deep misgivings about such claims. Sometimes mediums are not as thorough as they might be about thoroughly establishing the identity of their communicators.

I've seen so many instances of Mediums 'summoning' specific well know personalities, and conducting 'interviews' with them. Would spirit actually respond to such random summonings, especially well known or higher level spirits, and participate in 'interviews' and for what purpose. On the other hand, I can understand if spirit wants to get a message across, they would appear or make their presence known of their own accord.

I have a question about humor in the afterlife. It seems that in my communications with my husband, I notice that he has a great sense of humor. He always had one in life, and this has continued. The humor is completely in keeping with his personality, but it is so unexpected because I'm in such a sad place. This morning, I did my usual ten minutes of prayer and requests for his and the happiness of others, as well as guidance for myself. I began to hear my husband, in a loud voice that was clearly his own, give me advice, but he was kind of laughing, explaining about someone that I had to deal with. I woke up because I began, with my rational mind, to think, and say, "hey, this has to be a stored memory of something he said. It can't be him talking because he's in too good of a mood." So I woke up. Then I realized, he has shown his humor so many times already. I don't know why I began to judge and evaluate the situation. My inclination to do that might be stopping the communication. Can Mikey explain how and why this is so? Is it because one can't help but be happy in Summerland even if they know that earth is so painful for those they love?

Mikey tells me that generally speaking, this is not common practice. A "celebrity" here is just like everyone else when they return to Heaven. Generally there needs to be some type of "loving or soul connection" for this communication to occur. I know the importance of validation. I know the spiritual world is big and Mikey has told me that other "entities" can step in. (And they can fool ya.) He always says to validate first. Mikey also tells me they know who has the gift to communicate on earth, and they may go to that person to reach someone else they love on earth in attempt to communicate. MIkey did this with Sally Baldwin as he was trying to tell me that I had the ability.
All interesting anyway. But I do wonder how they confirm or validate these communications they talk about!

Mikey tells me your personality stays with you! Absolutely! You are you and your hubby is exactly your hubby! Mikey's humor is exactly the same and that is so important for our communication. How he says things to me is the same as well. Great validation and that is what your hubby is giving you! I feel your hubby is trying hard to help you and cheer you. Accept this for what it is and try not to over analize. What has saved me is knowing truly how connected we still are. That they are close are trying to help us on this difficult journey. Mikey wants me to tell you that love is surrounding you! Your hubby is trying his best to help!

Hello Carol & Mikey,

One question in Broken English because English isn't my mother tongue.
I'm a psychotherapist trained by Rochelle Wright in Guided Afterlife Connections. I was wondering what Mikey thinks about this new method, how valuable it is and how 'real' the connections are.
Also one specifique question about the technique, in the procedure there is the use of the EMDR technique (the eye-movements). I was wondering if the eye-movement is a necessary and essential part to get a good connection?
