Experiment with the Dead

So about one to two weeks ago, I decided to do a little experiment. I didn't think anything was going to happen, but before falling asleep, I thought in my mind: if there are any spirits here, please communicate with me in my dreams. I went to sleep at approximately 6am in the morning--I had stayed up all night watching ghost stories on Youtube.

I didn't have a dream. What I got was a constant streaming of faces and voices of people talking. There were four benevolent spirits: 3 adults and 1 child, and one of them in particular, remains fresh in my mind. She was caucasian, maybe in her late thirties or early fourties and had jet black hair that was curly, and was dressed in white. She was trying to say something to me, but her voice was muddled to the point that I could not make out any words.

Well the odd thing was that at approximately 7am, my parents saw a double rainbow near our house. My father claims that the sun was glaring; that the reflective light that is normally dim during a sunrise was profoundly bright. The power also went out throughout the city, and cell phones weren't functional. He believes that this was a solar flare, which indeed might have been the case. A solar flare had been reported two days earlier.

I talked to my father about the experiment, and he said that he too experienced a streaming of faces and voices, though he did not elaborate any further.

Now normally I am relunctant to do any sort of communication with the dead. I wasn't expecting anything to happen, and I think this should be left to people who are experienced with this sort of stuff, so the possibility that I will do something like this again is zero.

I like your experiment, you should log all events, feelings and phases.
Ofcourse you may call 'it' what you like but imho "the dead" don't exist, we never die, "they" are more alive than considered.
I know this could be picked up as nitpicking or smt but understanding their point of view, they are alive, well, and happy.
Which is more than can be said about most of us here hosting an body.
I hope you will be able to quiet down and concentrate more on 'her' voice. The one in white.

Sounds like a good plan, Fallen. I don't think it is wise to try and connect with any random spirit who happens to be around. Trying to connect with a loved one who has passed is different, I think. But I agree that it would be best not to try a random connection again. You might want to take a look at Roberta's posts on the Ouija board thread in this subforum, to me what you are doing sounds very similar.

Not to try and derail your experience as I don't believe it's fair for anyone to question anyone else's subjective experiences as genuine. However, if one watches too much of anything for an extended period of time, prior to going to sleep, it can affect images/dreams seen during REM sleep. I've had nights I played way too much of a certain type of game, basically hunting zombies as a team. Those nights I had all kinds of vivid dreams/images of zombies.

I believe there is some scientific explanation for this as though the images you're seeing, in this case all of the ghost stories you watched, almost create photographic images inside one's brain that can be recalled during REM sleep. Just a possibility in this case or it could have been legit, just throwing an alternate theory out there.

Yes, that was an interesting point. Who knows, could be something to it. Just be cautious if you venture further, Truth seeker..

It was fallen who posted the first thread not me, but maybe In the future in a few years maybe,I would try to contact my spirit guide,I found a video on how to do it,include doing things for protection, but not for now, first I want to do a lot of charity and good deeds for a while....I dont want my spirit guide complaining to much about me hahaha
