I am the last person that would try and discredit anyone's beliefs. We've all had subjective experiences, myself included, with music that leads one to believe these could be divine intervention from the other side. I myself was having a terrible day, about a month ago, with issues at work, stress from home, dealing with some seriously irritating people online, etc. I wanted to scream by the end of the day so I put my headphones on, proceeded to Slacker radio, turned to my custom station that currently has about 900 songs in it, and the first song that played was "What Light" by Wilco. Yes, it could very much be random as the rational side told me, but it was spot on what I needed to lift my spirits and my mood completely shifted. How could I not when they seemed to completely infer how bad a day I was having?
What Light Lyrics
If you think you need somebody
To pick you up when you drag
Don't lose sight of yourself
Don't let anyone change your bag
And if the whole world's singing your songs
And all of your paintings have been hung
Just remember what was yours
Is everyone's from now on
And that's not wrong or right
But you can struggle with it all you like
You'll only get uptight
Because there's a light (what light)
There's a light (one light)
There's a light (white light)
By the way, I looked up the John Denver song, "My Sweet Lady" after I heard your podcast episode with Andrew and Roberta from Afterlife radio. I could definitely see how that song would have been a wonderful message to send to you prior to you being able to communicate as you do now with Mikey. As much as I want to totally believe in all of these afterlife communication possibilities I also tend to try and find logic behind things as well. However, we all know that when dealing with the afterlife, our logic just doesn't seem to fit very often.
