Hi all

Just wanted to mention an experience from this morning. I know how many people say they have received communication through electronic modes such as music or whatever. I had not had any thing like that happen before today. I was working and listening to some tunes when my MP3 player abruptly switched from Gwen Stefani to a song by Taylor Swift song "Mine". There's a chorus in there about sitting by the water. That song always reminds me of my old friend and the times we hung out on this river near our homes. Ever since I first heard it, kind of brings back those memories and here it was out of my 800+ tracks, out of the blue. It seemed pretty obvious to me that it was a greeting and sure feels good, as I hadn't had much contact lately.

I'm much more inclined to believe a song can be a sign coming from a personal MP3 player rather than the radio. I'm not saying it can't be genuine from a radio, as Carol has shared some very intriguing stories about the John Denver song "My Sweet Lady" which was never a big hit so to hear it multiple times after Mikey's passing leads me believe there was something to it.

I also believe we can infer many things from many songs so I'm cautious that hearing a song automatically means a sign from the other side. However, in your case there seems to be some pretty deep connections to a part of the song so hopefully it was a sign. Thanks for sharing, Greystone.

I understand why the notion that a song on the radio or playing in a store could be a commuication to you alone seems not to make sense. How is it even possible? We don't know how they do it, but in fact these public playings of private songs are a well-documented kind of sign that the dead have verified to us repeatedly. I have wondered whether maybe the song is actually in our minds, and we only think we hear it externally, but that seems not to be what happens. We don't know how they do it. But, amazingly, they do seem to have a way!

With this, I find it hard to believe any loved one that has passed can override a radio station's broadcast, since 90% of it is programmed nowadays. However, I do believe they might be able to guide us, for instance we just happen to turn the station for some reason to a song that had/has great meaning to us regarding someone we lost.

That it could, Roberta, that it could. I'm always open to any possibility and you make a good point about our time being linear whereas it's not on the other side. Our limited minds could never fully grasp the multitude of possibilities that may exist after we pass. My head hurts now just thinking how we will process all of the info that comes to us after we pass over. Very excited whenever my time comes but now it's just not possible to grasp how much info we think we know but probably are not even close. Thanks for your input.

It is what happens! Mikey continues to tell me this is a real concept that is occurring and it takes "Devine intervention and coordination" for it to occur! But it absolutely happens! The timing to me is amazing. Mattymo it is the timing! Timing only here! For example (I have hundreds by the way and maybe that is because Mikey was a DJ and was huge into what songs said), I am driving Mikey's old truck, and as I drive I am asking him to come with me to an event because I need his guidance. I always talk out loud. The next song that plays on the radio is "I'll Be There" by the Spinners. Now, this type of thing is a common occurrence! I will be again driving in his truck, maybe frustrated from a situation wondering what I should do, asking Mikey. The next song that starts to play is "Let it Be" by the Beetles! And that was the best solution! Now, it is not just me. It is Mikey's dad, and brother too! He also does this with friends. I will tell you, I will probably never be able to part with Mikey's junky truck because it is amazing what has happened to me in it! When my dad was dying in the hospital, each time I got into Mikey's truck the song "Spirit In The Sky" was playing. On the morning my dad passed, when I got into the trunk to go see him and turned it on, the first song on the radio that played was "You say Goodbye, and I Say Hello" by the Beetles!!!!!!!
With the song "My Sweet Lady" by John Denver, the first 2 times that played was at my house with my CD player full of CD's on full shuffle random. Each time Mikey's baseball caps arrived, this song played. I begged for his hat when I first heard of the accident. When I went into JoAnn's to buy decorations for his gravesite, it started to play in the store! Then at Walgreens! I felt the song followed me. Once I learned about my ability by Sally Baldwin, it stopped. He didn't need to give that message anymore! Listen to that song sometime! The words are amazing! He was truly talking to me!
I could go on and on! My hubby and I often laugh and say, that Mikey never misses a beat! He is constantly listening! Sally had told me he was of a high energy and had great ability to communicate. She was right. I never understood what she meant initially.
So my point is this: this is a type of communication that absolutely occurs. I do feel the timing (here) is what really makes the difference! Cool stuff!

It's always uplifting to learn how your Mikey continues to reach out to you.

What fascinates me, though, is exactly how he influences (for example) the play-list of a radio presenter so that the exact music track gets played for you. Would you ask him how he brings about, and brought about in the early days of his contact with you, the highly specific situations where events have to be synchronised and influences have to be brought to bear on both physical systems (cd player) and presumably individuals? (radio presenters)

He can do the actions so he must (I surmise) know how he does them.
