What Happens To People Who Commit Suicide?

What happens to people who kill themselves? Do they still get to go to the Summerland like everyone else or are they punished for what they did?
I'm afraid that there is no one answer for this question. Like so many other things about the afterlife, it depends on the person. Just as with everything else that we do in life, no one is going to pass judgment on us or condemn us. We will act as our own judges though, so, if we feel guilty about what we've done and are unable to forgive ourselves, that will prevent us from accessing the Summerland. So, if someone who commits suicide feels no guilt about both the act itself and the affect it had on other people, then he/she will progress into the Summerland with no problems. That's rarely the case though.
While it's true that people who are terminally ill do tend to escape most of the guilt of suicide, the a lot of people who kill themselves do not. A good deal of suicide victims kill themselves to escape somewhat trivial earthly matters. When they die, they, like all dead people, gain the ability to feel as others do. They'll realize the pain they've caused friends and loved ones, and how they have hindered them from completing their earthly missions, and this will give them incredible guilt. It is impossible to enjoy the Summerland until they've gotten over that guilt and forgiven themselves.
Until forgiveness is possible, the suicide victim's spiritual vibration level will plummet, which forces them into the dreadful outer darkness. That person is the only one who can force him/herself into the darkness - no one else can or would want to do it. Everyone else has completely forgiven that person. The outer darkness is not a place that one would want to go. It's pitch-black and full of demon people. These beings are weak and powerless, so if they are stood up to, they will back away. The problem is that people are not strong enough to stand up to these beings - everyone is too obsessed with grief and self pity to think about anything else.
There are highly advanced beings who work day and night to get these people to forgive themselves and move out of the darkness. The problem is that the forgiving is something the only that particular person can do. No one can do it for him/her. It's a long process, but eventually everyone progresses up into the Summerland. So, if you've lost someone to suicide, don't worry - they'll be fine! The best thing you can do for them is to tell them that you love and forgive them and that they should forgive themselves and enter the Summerland!
