I have heard about guardian angels. I cannot figure out if they are just Christian mythic figures, or if they really exist?

Guardian angels do exist, but they are not anything like what Christian teachings show them as. In reality, guardian angels are beings that have never been on earth as humans. They are made of a different type of conscious Mind Energy than incarnate beings are.

Every person on earth has a guardian angel. The job of these beings is solely to save us from physical harm. For example, if something is unsafe - they work vigorously to help us. It has been said that, without these wonderful beings, we humans couldn't last an hour on earth! However, if it is our time to die, then they let us die, because that is what's best for us. Our guardian angels will always act in our best interest.

Much is still unknown about guardian angels such as, what they do when we're safe in the afterlife and if they have a bodily appearance. Some people have reported seeing angels, but it is often beings of light or manifested spirit guides that they are really seeing.

Hopefully, more research will be done on guardian angels soon!
