Hi Everyone!
Last night, (Thursday, 29 JUNE 2012.....about 12:45AM) I got another communication from my Mom, (at least I HOPE it was her!)
In my bedroom, (on my dresser across from my bed), I have one of those battery-operated lights (where you can press the dome on top of the light, and the light will come on--press it again, and the light will turn off.)
I just finished doing some reading, and I turned off my lamp which is next to me on my nightstand.
It's dark, and before I go to sleep I always say...
"Thanks God for letting me get through another day...I do appreciate it!!!"
And then, like always, I say to my Mom (with a bit of variation one night to another)........
"Hi Mom! I'm gonna' drift-off to sleep now, so I'll see you in a little bit!! Same time, same place!! I LOVE you Mom!!!"
Then I'll drift-off to sleep!
I KNOW that I hadn't drifted-off to sleep yet, when I noticed that my light (on the dresser) was ON!!!!
(NO kiddin' folks, it was ON, and I hadn't even pressed the dome on top to turn the light on!!!)
I was a bit perplexed....so as I got up to turn the light OFF.....
It TURNED ITSELF OFF!!!!
I'm kinda' puzzled, so I go back to bed....
It TURNS ITSELF BACK ON!!!!!
I'm thinking to myself.... ("Mom, is that you????")
I get back up out of bed again....
It TURNS ITSELF OFF....AGAIN!!!
I just go back to bed again and I said...
"Thanks MOM! I liked that!!! I'll see you in a little bit! I LOVE YOU!!!
Nothing like this has ever happened to me before!
Roberta, Andrew, Carol & Mikey...do you think that was my Mom? I sure like to that so!!!!
"Kitefully" yours,
Chuck

Wow - there's no mistaking that as a sign, Chuck! Given the fact that you were talking to your mother just before it happened, I would say that it is essentially certain that your mother was behind this. The deceased find it easier to use electricity than to move physical things around, probably because electricity is energy and so is Spirit, so it makes sense that your mother would try to contact you in this way!
Congratulations on witnessing such a great sign!! :)

That's some neat stuff, Chuck. I can't see it being a coincidence.

That was your mom, dear Chuck! Messing with lights is easy for our loved ones in spirit. And they love doing it, and seeing our reactions - think of how much fun she had with this ;-)!

That's neat Chuck, can't see how it could be anything other than a sign from your Mom.

Chuck,
Your mom is awesome!!!!!!! What a great sign! Lights are a "biggy"! Mikey has fun with a few of our lights at times! And Roberta is right that they love to see our reaction when we see it for what it is! Love it! Mikey says that electrical signs is one of the easiest ways for them to try to let us know they are around. :)
Have you been flying any kites lately? Summer is the time! :)

I remember after my mom-in-law passed, I asked her to "flick the lights" in the room I was in and when nothing happened I figured that was it. But then in the middle of the night I noticed the power went out-the digital clock went out and so did the rest of the electricity in our house-for an hour and a half. I found out later that no one else's power on the street had gone out that night-there were no reported outages. There was no reason for our power to go out-no storms, no power lines down, etc.... We were "frenemies"-I can just hear her saying, "that'll show ya!", in a funny way of course. Also I asked her if she could send a fox to our yard because even though we lived in the country I didn't see many foxes. I didn't want to go near the fox-I just wanted to look at it through the window. Since it was rare to see a fox during the day I thought it would be a sign.Well, my son drew a picture of a fox in class soon after and he said"look at the fox I drew!" I was quite sure it was her way of showing me the fox. Also, there was a fox in the yard that mother's day(she died the day before Easter, March 22 2008.)

It's funny how signs work out sometimes, isn't it? :)

I am so glad I read this for it reminded me of when I was a suicidal teenager (wait let me explain lol). I didn't know anything about spirit guides at this time. I did believe that we had angels and spirits looking over us however. But not a spirit guide. I was very much suicidal and I started having vivid dreams and I became scared to sleep at night in the dark. So I bought this crystal ball from the store that shined light and played nature noises. I always put it on the "rain sound". That was the only sound that would make me fall blissfully asleep. Please know that I always had to manually turn it on myself and then manually turn it on the rain sound. It never automatically turned on by itself nor did it automatically turn on to the rain sound.
Well one time I was having a particularly bad day. I said to myself that maybe if I go to bed and sleep it all off, that I will wake up feeling better. Well I went to the bathroom and came back to my room to see that my crystal ball was turned on.. Not only was it turned on but it was turned on to the "rain sound". There were several different sounds and settings. But it just so happend to be turned on to the rain setting. I'm thinking to myself "who did this??" It surely was not me. And it surely was not my mother who never went into my room. We were the only ones in the apartment. I knew then that someone was watching over me.
The end.

I dreamt that a child drew a picture of the summerlands and posted it on a wall I was looking at. I knew it was a childs drawing because of the "skribbely" and imperfect design. There was a rainbow and there was grass that seemed to be three colors combined " green, blue, and turquoise". At the top of the picture was the word "Summerland". There was a picture of a stick person standing on this grass under the rainbow. .. it was me they drew.
