TriciaA, that was interesting to watch and it made me wonder. The way the security people locked up Helen Duncan as she was seen as a security threat during the WWII era, in particular, the D-Day plans. The way she was tried with the old Witchcraft Act of 1735, by the British state, as a smoke screen to stop and silence her usage of her amazing séances.

I wonder how security departments of various countries of the modern day view such gifted people. I wonder if security people still can be nervous with such people if top security information could be picked up.

To the best of my knowledge there's not been another such case since that of Helen Duncan....

I suspect that there's little belief that psychics or mediums have abilities of the sort to be a threat to security. Probably much more of a risk of deliberate disclosure from those with direct access to sensitive material, as with Bradley Manning in the Julian Assange and Wikileaks.
