To Skye and others, perhaps you can suggest what questions I should ask when I do a call with a medium. I would like for the medium to try to connect with a loved one that passed away not long ago (I know that I should not provide any specific details as it is the job of the medium to validate things to show they are able to communicate with the deceased)-that said, are there specific questions I should ask the medium?
Thanks.

Hi lithuania:)
I have had a few readings with a Medium, face to face and also over the phone. There have been times when I hoped to hear from someone very dear to me, however, he only came through on the very rare occasion. Usually before I contacted a Medium, I'd send my thoughts out and asked if that certain person could come through and just hope he did :) Some Mediums do ask if you have any questions and as you know, it's always best not to feed the reader. However, you could mention that a certain loved one recently passed away and you were wondering if perhaps he/she could connect, without, of course saying who this person is. If the Medium is able to make a good connection, he/she will give you evidence of that.

I asked a long time about someone, however, at that time no connection was made. Do bare in mind sometimes it takes a while for loved ones to come through, especially if they passed over within a short time of a reading taking place. Well, these are my thoughts on it:) I'm sure there will be a few more posts regarding your question lithuania :)

Thanks Tricia, this medium has told me to write down questions I wanted to pose to her at the start of the reading. I cannot think of anything to ask other than whether they can communicate with the one person who died recently. What else does one ask a medium given that it is not supposed to be a psychic reading where I would ask about my career, etc.?

Hi lithuania,

I think a person would want to know is whether they are receiving the info from spirit or from the sitter (psychic). I wouldn't be asking too many questions, just be open to the sitting. But make sure you have the type of reading you are in most need of otherwise this may be a waste of your hard earned money.

I would ask if she is an evidential medium? Or, is she a psychic?

If she claims to be a medium and couldn't communicate with a known spirit communicator, would she give you your money back?

If you are interested in knowing about your career and other things and there's been no mention of it by a known communicator then ask at the end of the session before the medium closes down.

Just answer yes, no, I don't know or I don't understand, to any info she passes on. Bite your lip if need be.:)

It will be interesting to see what others may ask.

Thank you Skye. She is a medium and psychic (I am most interested in the medium work but will probably ask some psychic type questions as I cannot imagine that she could talk for one hr about the person I want her to try to connect with-I know it is not her fault if she cannot connect with this one person so perhaps she could also try to connect with other family members that have passed). I will let you know the results after I have had the reading.
